For the last week I have been enjoying the wonderful art of Gold & Silversmithing.
Discovering I can make ANYTHING from any wax has eased my anxiety over disliking most rings I find in jewellers.
I find the brown wax very useful when creating a more rounded and flowing piece but pink sheet wax is equally as fun.
Attempted first ever ring.
The final thing cast in sterling silver at Linrose in the Century Building on Swanston St.
Chiselled a little but still has work to do.
The centre had to be joined to minimise the thin wax burning out in the plaster mould.
I love this process. Gives you such freedom. But with that freedom I find it hard to narrow it down.
